Munchie Monday: CBD Pasta Salad Recipe – Wellicy

So if you've been looking to get busy in the kitchen and put your cooking skills to the test with CBD, you're in luck, because today we are going to show you how to make a tasty CBD pasta salad at home.

It’s a perfect cold dish for your summer barbecue or next family gathering!

Please keep in mind the dosing is for a party full of people.

If not everyone prefers to be dosed with CBD, you can always dose your individual serving.

Keep in mind that you should never dose someone with CBD without them knowing.

It won’t hurt them, but consent is crucial, so always make sure to notify the attendees if you will be making this CBD infused pasta salad. 

Feel Good Pasta Salad

Ingredients:

  • 1 Pound Macaroni Noodles
  • 1 16 oz Bbottle Zesty Italian Dressing
  • 10 oz of Cherry Tomatoes, cut in half (I used a colorful heirloom variety)
  • 1 medium Onion, diced
  • 1 each Red, Yellow, and Orange Bell Peppers, cut into small strips
  • 1 16oz can artichoke hearts, drained and quartered
  • ½ cup to 1 cup shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 TBSP Fresh Parsley, Chopped
  • 1 TBSP Garlic Powder
  • 1 TBSP Italian Seasonings
  • 1 TBSP Onion Powder
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Wellicy Unflavored CBD tincture (I used 1,000 mg bottle, you can use what is right for you!)

Instructions:  

  • Step 1: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook pasta until al dente, rinse under cold water, and drain.

  • Step 2: Whisk together Italian Dressing and dried spices.

  • Step 3: In a salad bowl combine Pasta, Tomatoes, Onions, Bell Peppers, & Artichoke Hearts. Pour Italian dressing mixture over pasta, stirring in as much cheese as you like. Toss together and refrigerate until cold or overnight.

  • Step 4: When ready to serve dose your Pasta salad with CBD. I used 2 full droppers of the Wellicy Unflavored 1000 mg in the entire salad. Adjust the dose for the milligrams that work best for you. If you are serving a large amount of people, and their dose varies, dose the individual servings to their needs.

  • Step 5: Enjoy!

    How to Figure Out Dosing for Homemade CBD Recipes

    When making CBD infused recipes at home, it's important that you keep dosage in mind when crafting these recipes at home.

    Don't worry it's much simpler than you think!

    To figure out the dosage on a serving by serving basis, you first need to figure out which strength of oil you'll be using.

    Since we used the 1,000mg Wellicy Unflavored CBD Oil in the recipe above, we'll stick with that.

    To figure out the dosage per 1mL you simply take the strength of the bottle and divide it by the bottle size. So you'd do 1,000mg divided by 30mL (bottle size), which comes out to 33.33mg of CBD per 1mL.

    So if you'd like each serving size to be 33.33mg of CBD, you'd simply multiply 33.33mg by the number of servings and that number is the total amount of CBD you need to use in your recipe.
